19th NSF: 32 Games In Action Today As 8 Games Have Been Concluded By Niyi Busari BSNsports.com.ng can reveal that nine games have already ended as at Day-5 (Tuesday) in the ongoing 2018 national sports festival in Abuja. All the available medals have been won in traditional game, Dambe, deaf table tennis, judo, Kung Fu, Para-table tennis, powerlifting, cycling and table tennis and medals presentation has been made. However, thirty two games will go down today in Day-6 of the 19th national sports festival. The game of Ayo enters Day-5 and is scheduled for VIP Lounge Package A while Basketball continues at the Outdoor Court Package B, as basketballers are anticipating to win laurels in the dunk game. Badminton starts today and scheduled to hold at the Indoor Sports Hall as non-stop actions continue to greet the game of Handball which takes place at the Outdoor Hall package B, while different states will fight for honour in Squash as it is already in the Knockout stage at Squash court Package B. Despite many medals won already in swimming as at Day-5, supporters, fans and spectators will continue to enjoy the game today at the Swimming pool package B as Chess on Day-3 holds at Press Conference hall Package A. Cricket is billed for Cricket Oval and baseball court Package B. Action return to the game of Football as Semifinals matches will be played today which starts from 2:00 pm, as FCT face Lagos in the first Semifinal match at the Training Pitch of the National Stadium. Para-soccer continues as four states including the hosts, FCT will fight for final tickets at the Para-Soccer pitch Old Parade Ground, Abuja. In traditional sports, Langa enters Day-3 and are scheduled for Training Pitch 3 of national stadium Package A. Golf will be in day-3 as actions continue at IBB Golf club. Athletes will compete for medals in Wheelchair tennis, hockey, Para-swimming and weightlifting, handball, volleyball in Package B of the national stadium. Boxing and kickboxing will hold outside stadium at the Gymnasium Hall of Aguiyi Ironsi cantonment while Judo holds at Velodrome Package A national stadium. Beach volleyball and canoeing will be having their Day-3 action at Jabi lake, Jabi Abuja, while Abula holds at Old Parade Ground Abuja. Tennis, wrestling and kokowa start today at the package B while Scrabble continues at the Press Centre Package A. Athletics and para-athletics enter day-2 as athletes fight for medals on track and field events. Wheelchair tennis will see more action at the tennis court Package B as Chess is getting close to final stage. All events starts from 8:00 am, however, some games are billed to start later.
