Lagos drops one step to 5th with 8 gold, 14 silver and 33 bronze medals. Oyo and Akwa-Ibom states occupied 6th and 7th positions on the log table with 8 gold, 10 silver, and 13 bronze, while Akwa Ibom have 7 gold, 9 silver, and 13 bronze medals. The hosts, FCT dropped to 8th position from 5th winning 7 gold, 3 silver and 9 bronze medals. Abia, Bayelsa, Osun occupied 9th, 10th and 11th positions while Niger, Imo and Ondo states maintained 12th, 13th and 14th on the log respectively. However, six states are yet to win a medal, the states are; Adamawa, Borno, Ebonyi, Gombe, Katsina, Jigawa, Zamfara while Sokoto state won one bronze medal.
