19th NSF: Ondo face Rivers in Volleyball Semi finals By Dare Kuti Team Ondo will lock horns with Team Rivers in the Semi finals of the Volleyball event at the ongoing 19th National Sports Festival (NSF) in Abuja. Ondo state led by former national team player, Sunday Akinbo beat Team Yobe 3-0 (25-21, 28-26, 25-23) at the outdoor court of the National Stadium Package B. The highflying Ondo team is yet to lose any match. In the second semi final match, a youthful Anambra side will face Plateau state on Thursday. Anambra state beat two experienced sides (Team Rivers and Team FCT) to qualify. Meanwhile, Team Delta female team must beat Team Enugu if they want to play in the final. Delta came from a set down to beat Team Plateau before dismantling Team Kaduna in their second game. The second female semi final match is between Team Lagos and Team Kaduna. The final of the male and female volleyball event is for December 14th.
