20 Basketball Academies Fight For Honour In Generation Next Final 8

The Warriors Academy Basketball court, Ilupeju will come alive from Wednesday by 10:00am for the Generation Next Final 8. The four day event powered by Olumide Oyedeji Youth Foundation will draw the curtain on the basketball competition featuring eight best teams out of over 20 academies across Lagos state that featured in the competition.

The teams comprising of White Lion basketball academy, Heatkings basketball academy, Ohklahoma Newsong basketball academy, Rising star basketball academy, Rookies basketball academy, Raptors basketball academy and Ravean basketball academy will be divided into two groups.

A total of 6 games will be played daily as the top two teams will qualify for the semi-finals of the competition.

The All Star Game which will feature some of the rising talents within the Nigerian basketball sphere will take centre stage on Friday alongside skills challenge and slam dunk contest with some amazing cash prizes up for grab.

According to the President of Nigeria Olympians Association, Olumide Oyedeji, the final will hold on Saturday after the celebrity games which will commence at 2pm.
