Felix Owolabi Warns Super Eagles ...Says Eagles will Qualify For the 2nd Round By Niyi Busari Former Super Eagles forward Felix Owolabi has warned the Super Eagles not to allow the victory against Iceland to go into their heads when they face Argentina in their last group game against Argentina on 26th June 2018. The former Shooting Stars forward advice them the Nigerian senior national team not to be complacent against Argentina as the Argentines will be playing for pride in their last group game of the competition. "The Super Eagles should not be complacent against the Argentines because they could be the spoilers, they will want to play to save their neck. We must be careful against them, the game against them will not be an easy game." The 1980 African nations cup winner praised Ahmed Musa for his brilliant performance which led to Super Eagles triumph over the Islanders. "Ahmed Musa must be praised for his brilliant performance which he singlehandedly won for Nigeria. He remain the only Nigeria to record a back to back brace at the world cup. He is playing in his second home and would not want to let his fans down, playing in Russia gave him the advantage and he utilised it." Owoblow as he is fondly called said that the Super Eagles performances against the Iceland was the best performance of the team he witnessed in recent time. "This is the best Nigerian senior national team performance I have seen in recent time as nice '94. We performed well. The game against Iceland is all encompassing, I was shocked about the wonderful performance of the players. They are condemned to win the match and everybody expected them to do what they did." He concluded.
