2018 World Cup: Nigerians React To Super Eagles Performances Ahead of the Russia 2018

Many fans who took to their social media platforms after yesterday poor performance against the Czech Republic said that the team would not do well at the Mundial . The Super Eagles played a 0-1 against Czech and suffered for the 90 minutes struggling to get an equalizer that never came. This is the team second loss in less than a week and according to fans, the squad is not ready to face the rest of the world. Though Super Eagles dominated the possession, the players were not coordinated and could hardly hold the ball for minutes. They lost possession easily, which made the fans to easily write the team off. “Nigeria played her last pre-world cup friendly against Czech and lost, this may have dampened the morale of the players,” a fan who simply identified himself as Gbade said. However, the team coach, Gernot Rohr said that he was not perturbed by the Czech results but more concerned about his first match against Croatia on June 16. The Super Eagles need to try and impose themselves more especially early in games, or they'll get blown away early and may not recover. The attitude of the players need to be awaken and the Coach should put tactical formation that our players can blend into without stress. However, no free flow of play.
