2019 AFCON: Onyekuru Says Super Eagles Will Shine In Egypt

Onyekuru happy to be back in Eagles fold

After a successful loan spell with Turkish Super Lig giant Galatasaray, Nigeria's Super Eagles forward Henry Onyekuru is excited to be back in the national team.

The Everton of England loanee believed that Super Eagles will soar in Egypt when the 2019 African Nations Cup gets underway this month.

Former Eupen striker was one of the early bird in the Super Eagles camp which opened in Asaba on Sunday. The team took its first training on Monday and Onyekuru was actively part of the training.

" After a short break I’m back doing what I love. The first training back getting ready for #AFCON Honoured to represent. Super Eagles Will Soar", he wrote. Before joining the national team, Onyekuru scored 14 league goals for Galatasaray, winning two trophies. The speedy forward is expected to be part of the Nigeria's Super Eagles team to 2019 African Cup of Nations slated for Egypt this summer
