2019 AFCON Q: Nigeria Defeat Seychelles 3-1, Qualify As Group Winner

Super Eagles of Nigeria outscored Seychelles 3-1 in the last Group E of 2019 African Nations Cup qualifier decided at the Stephen Keshi Stadium on Friday, BSNSports.com.ng.com.ng can report.
Shenhua Shangai striker, Odion Ighalo who put the hosts ahead from the spot in the 35th minute became the African Nations Cup qualifier highest goal with 7 goals from 6 matches.
Roddy Melanie broke the heart of the home fans as he restored parity for the visitors six minutes later.
Henry Onyekuru's header restored Nigeria lead in the 51st minute before Super-sub Moses Simon completed the rout with a fine finish in the 90th minute.
Gernot Rohr made three changes in the second half as Oghenekharo Etebo was substituted for Portugal based Paul Onuachu in the 65th minute.
Arsenal FC star, Alex Iwobi also made way for Semi Ajayi a few minutes later before super-sub Moses Simon replaced the tournament highest goal scorer Odion Ighalo five minutes to the end of the regulation time.
With the win, Super Eagles are Group E table topper of the 2019 AFCON qualifiers with 13 points from six games as South Africa and Libya have 9 and 7 points respectively with a game to play.
Seychelles could only manage 1 point in 6 matches and ended the campaign at the bottom of the table.
