Aiteo Cup: "Kano Pillars Are Going To Kaduna To Make History" - Deputy Gov

Ahead of the 2019 Aiteo Federation Cup final, Kano State government has heaped praises on the Kano Pillars players for making it to the final for the second consecutive year, BSNSports.com.ng can report.
The Mai Su Gida boys who suffered a defeat in the last year final to Enugu Rangers qualified for this year final after they defeated Calabar Rovers.
The State Deputy governor DR Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna visited the team at the Sani Abacha stadium where they preparing for the final.
"On 24th of this month exactly 6 days from today, in Kaduna I want us to go there and make history, I think the history dates as far as 66 years that we won it last.
"This cup is very important to us as I always tell you when you put in your best there is nothing you cannot do.
"I remembered when I talked to you during our matches, you gave me the courage that you will make it and I did not have any doubt and you have made and by God grace we shall carry the cup.
"So, I am here to tell you that His Excellence Ganduje and his government is ready to support you at least and to achieve this feat that is unique, I don't there is a team in Nigeria that will play in the final back to back.
The deputy governor also reassured Kano Pillars of government support in their CAF competition campaign next season.
"Then for the preparations of the CAF and I want you to be very ready and I want to be as ambitious as possible we getting ready to make sure your welfare is well taking care of and our technical team well prepared .
"This is an opportunity for you too showcase yourself to the world because is competition that is going to be watch by millions, so is an opportunity to showcase you talents and career of professionalism.
"I want to call on you to continue doing what you are doing and make improvement where it necessary.
He also promised to conclude all arrangement on Sunday ahead Wednesday 2019 Aiteo Cup final.
"I want to assure you that we have finished arrangements and by Sunday you will leaving Kano for the camp, your welfare has been taking care of .
He reassured the presence of the state governor at the Ahmadu Bello stadium to cheer Kano Pillars to final.
"I will make sure that the governor will there to watch the final and we will lift the cup to together," he concluded.
Pillars will face Niger Tornadoes at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium to determine the winner of this year Aiteo cup champion.
