2019 FCT FA CUP: FCT FA Thanks Guests, Congratulates EFCC, Veragold Amazon On Their Feats By Niyi Busari FCT Football Association Board headed by Alhaji Musa Saeed Talle has congratulated the champions of the 2019 FCT FA Cup Veragold Amazon and Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) FC who emerged as Women's and Men 2019 FCT FA champions, BSNSports.com.ng can report. In a statement released by the Acting Secretary General, Haruna Usman Ilerika made available to www.bsnsports.com.ng the Board also thanked all special guests invited that graced the ocassion on Sunday at the Area 3 play ground, Garki Abuja. The special guests includes; FCT Director of Sports, Chief Mrs Dilichukwu Onyedinma and other Management Staff of the Sports Department, NFF Deputy Secretary General, Dr Ikpeme, Super Falcons head coach, Thomas Dennerby, Falcon assistant coach, Maureen Madu to mention but few. The statement which was signed by the Association Chairman reads; "The Chairman, Board and Staff of the FCT Football Association appreciates all those who either participated or contributed to the success of the FCT FA/AITEO Cup 2019. We are grateful to the FCT Director of Sports, Chief Mrs Dilichukwu Onyedinma and other Management Staff of the Sports Department. Worthy of mention too is Dr Ikpeme, Thomas Dennerby, Maureen Madu The Management and Staff of the finals in both the male and female category are hereby appreciated. For emphasis, they are EFCC Football Club, Setraco Football Club, Vera Gold Amazon FC and Capital City Doves FC." FCT FA however, urged the nation's capital representative in the national Aiteo Cup competition to commence preparation early so as to do FCT proud. "We urge them to commence early preparations so that they can surpass past records this year. Kudos to the 27 teams that participated in the 2019 edition."
