2019 FIBA World Cup: Nworah releases final list

Ahead of the 2019 FIBA men's World Cup slated for China, the head Coach of Nigeria's senior basketball national team Alex Nwora has announced his final list for the competition, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The ream has been preparing for the competition for almost two months with intensive training and warm up matches.

Top on the list of players are Jordan Nwora, Al Farouq Aminu and Team skipper Ike Diogu.

The final list was released on Tuesday morning after they emerged champions of the PEAK invitational tournament in China.

The trio of Deji, Nwamu and Alade were dropped from the team.

Nigeria play it's opening match against Russia on Saturday August 31st at Wuhan City in China, Argentina and South Korea are the two countries in group. B.
