Peace Restored As Taekwondo Athletes, Coaches Resume Work

Latest report from National Youth Games in Ilorin has it that the Director, Grassroots Sports Development, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Dr. Ademola Are has stepped in and put the matter of whether Taekwondo will take place or not to rest.

Earlier this morning, there was communication gap between the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Taekwondo Federation as the Technical Director Taekwondo Federation, Chika Chukwumerije who is in charge of the electronic gadgets that will be used for the game was not around.

Following the bridge of communication by Dr. Are the game will commence as scheduled as all states athletes and coaches are already warming up for participate in the 2019 National Youth Games.
