2020 Edo Sports Festival: Edo Close In On Delta As Lagos Move Into The Top Five

With a total of 118 medals, 47 gold, 37 silvers and 34 bronze, Delta State leads the medals table followed by hosts, Edo State with a total of 121 medals, 39 gold, 43 silver and 39 bronze while Bayelsa are third with a total of 68 medals, 27 gold, 19 silver and 22 bronze, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Team Lagos also moved into the top five with a total of 33 medals, 6 gold, 9 silver and 18 bronze right behind Rivers State who occupied the fourth place with a total of 38 medals, 8 gold, 10 silver, and 20 bronze.
Kano with 30 medals (5 gold, 8 silver and 17 bronze), Akwa Ibom with 34 medals (5 gold, 7 silver and 22 bronze), Imo State with 16 medals (5 gold, 4 silver and 7 bronze), Ogun State with 14 (4 gold, 1 silver and 9 bronze) and Oyo State with 23 medals (3 gold, 5 silver and 15 bronze) make up the top 10 on the medals table.
With less than four full days to the end of Edo 2020 Sports Festival, many surprises and changes on the medals table is expected as the host, Edo State looks ready to dislodge Delta State on top of the log.
