Difficult Starts For Defending Champions Kano Pillars, Safety Queens As The Prudent Energy Handball Premier League Commences

The Prudent Energy Handball Premier League 2020 matches will commence at 7am at the Package B of the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja.

The matchday 1 for will see the battle of the Babes as Defender Babes and Seasiders Babes slug it out against each other in the first match of the day in the women category.

Other matches in the women category will see Imo Grasshoppers hoping to regain their lost glory as they battle Kada Queens while defending champion Safety Babes will begin the defense of their title as they face a tough test in Edo Dynamos.

Plateau Peacocks will face Desert Queens while it will be the battle of the newcomers as Adorable Queens of Ilorin battle Benue Queens of Markudi.

In the men category, Rima Strikers will play Plateau Vipers while COAS Shooters will go out gun blazing as they aim to shoot down Borno Spiders.

Kada Stars will hope they shine as a million stars as they face Lagos Seasiders while  defending champion Kano Pillars will start the defence of their title with a tough tie against former champion Niger United.

De Defender will do every thing to avoid being shot down as they face Safety Shooters while boys Delta Force will begin life in the top tier League as they play fellow new team Confluence Stars of Lokoja.

Matches commence at 7am prompt.

Meanwhile, Technical Adviser of the Handball Federation of Nigeria Coach Ferdinand Emeana, while congratulating the participating teams for qualifying for the league, advised the teams to be of good conduct and show sportsmanship as the HFN hope to have a hitch free event.
