2020 NSF Qualifier: Yahaya Ibrahim, Michael Odey Bag Brace As Team FCT Massacre Kogi 7-1

The defending champions in the football event of the 2018 National Sports Festival, Team FCT showed that their winning over other states in 2018 was never a fluke when they massacred their Kogi counterparts 7-1.

Team FCT which consist of young talents across the capital city started the rain of goals in the 27th minute when Yahaya Ibrahim ran through the Kogi defense before unleashing a low shot that left the keeper confused.

Two minutes into the second half, FCT left back, Michael Odey was on score sheet to double the champions advantage. Odey completed his brace in the 59th minute.

The 3-0 lead unsettled Team Kogi and two minutes later, Yahaya scored his second goal at the University of Ilorin football pitch.

Nigeria Golden Eaglets sensation, Favour Akeem was also on song while David Ehiage completed the rout in the 76th minute.

However, Ilemona Sulaiman had scored a consolation goal for Kogi in the North Central National Sports Festival Elimination competition holding in Ilorin, Kwara state.
