Adegoke came into reckoning after running a new World Lead of 10.16seconds (+0.8) to win the men’s 100m final at the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) All-Comers held at the Federal University of Technology (FUTA), Akure. He also secured victory ahead of Ogho-Oghene Egwero in the men’s 100m final, winning in 10.50s in the classic events organised by AFN in Ado-Ekiti in 2020. "I'm prepared already. I can't just wait to get there, I've met most of target for 2021. Getting to the Olympics, I believe I will fulfil the rest," he said. Adegoke is one of the athelete Team Nigeria is looking up to secure a podium finish. Atheletics events is slated to start on Friday.
