2020 Tokyo Olympics: Adegoke, Itsehkiri Through To The Semis, Oduduru Disqualified By Sampson Adedeji It was a good day in office for the Team Nigeria duo of Enoch Adegoke and Ushoritse Itsehkiri as they qualified for the semi final of men's 100 meters, BSNSports.com.ng can reports. Adegoke who ran a historic 10.00 seconds last month to win the Nigeria 100m title was the star of the show as he ran 9.98 seconds in his first round heat to qualify for the 100m semifinal at the ongoing Tokyo Olympics. Itsehkiri was placed third in his heat but the saddest thing for Team Nigeria was the disqualification of Divine Oduduru. He was disqualified for an offence of false start, the decision that came as a shock to the determined athlete. The duo of Adegoke and Itsehkiri will be hoping to put Team Nigeria on the medals table. Meanwhile Grace Nwokocha failed to advance to the women’s 100m final after finishing fifth in her semifinal heat with another sub- 11.10
