2020 Tokyo Olympics: Brume Wins Nigeria First Medal At 2020 Olympic By Omolagba Oluwayemi Nigeria finally have her medal at the ongoing 2020 Tokyo Olympics all thanks to Ese Brume who clinched the bronze medal in the Women's long jump final, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Brume jumped 6.97 to win the bronze medal. [video width="352" height="640" mp4="https://bsnsports.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/VID-20210803-WA0000.mp4"][/video] Malaika Mihambo of Germany jumped 7.00m to win the gold medal while in second place was America's Brittney Reese who also jumped a 6.97m but with a better second best of 6.95m than that of Brume (6.90m). With her bronze medal, Nigeria now moves up to 75th position on the medals table.
