2020 Tokyo Olympics: Okagbare Slam Sports Ministry, AFN By Sampson Adedeji Nigeria track queen Blessing Okagbare has slammed Sports Ministry and Atheletics Federation Of Nigeria (AFN) for the way and manner they are managing sports ( athletics) in the country, BSNSports.com.ng can reports. Ten of Team Nigeria in athletics were disqualified on Wednesday by the Atheltics Integrity Unit (AIU) for not meeting up with the required standard of the body. The decisions that shocked numerous Nigerians across the world and has also generated a lot of heated argument among the athletes . United States based Okagbare revealed her frustrations through her social media handles. "I have said it before and I will say it again, If you do not know the sport, not passionate about it/Us (the athletes), then you have no business there as an administrator. "The sport system in Nigeria is so flaw and we athletes, are always at the receiving end of the damages.. "They were busy fighting over power, Excercising their pride over puma contract/ kits forgetting their major responsibility "THE ATHLETES". It's sad that this cycle keeps repeating its self and some people will come out to say I am arrogant for speaking my truth. It is my CAREER," she said.
