Brume shocked the entire world on Tuesday morning after she clinched a bronze medal in the long jump event in Tokyo. While reacting to the new feat, the current Africa champion was delighted with the achievement and she further thanked her coach, friend and entire Nigerians for their supports. "I'm happy and super excited because I'm not just an Olympian but a medalist. It's an amazing and exciting moment for me, it's not an easy journey. "It has been up and down, in the middle of the season I was injured and I have to overcome that, broke national and Africa record. "It wasn't an easy job for me but with the help of my coach Mr Kayode Yahaya and my friends, including support from Delta State Government I was able to make it far this season and I want to say thank you to all of them," she said.
