It was Tiago Apolonia of Portugal that handed him a 4-0 defeat in the men's singles game. The breakdown of the game that Omotayo succumbed to 7-11, 9-11, 6-11, 5-11 and crashed out of the events. Meanwhile, the remaining Nigeria representative in women single Offiong will face Zhang Lily of United States on Monday in the second round of the women's singles.
