By Sampson Adedeji
Former Nigeria's Super Eagles goalkeeper, Dosu Joseph has urged Nigeria's Super Eagles head coach, Gernot Rohr, to invite and play home-based players in the Lesotho game, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Super Eagles sealed its passage to the 2021 African Cup Of Nations on Saturday with a 0-1 away win over Squirrels of Benin Republic which makes the final qualifier against Crocodiles of Lesotho inconsequential.
The Olympic gold medalist further said, Rohr should release the foreign based players and allow the local players to play the game.
" I'm happy an excited that we qualified for Nations cup and the next game is a dead rubber game, all I can advise the coach is to invite and play the home based players, but I'm not the technical adviser neither coach.
"My wish is that all the professional should just allow to go and bring in the home based players to play the game, dead rubber game means nothing, I believe the home based players will so something," he stated.
