2021 AFCON: Onuachu Targets Trophy

By Sampson Adedeji Nigeria's Super Eagles and RKC Genk of Belgium striker Paul Onuachu has quickly shifted his attention to African Cup Of Nations title in Cameroon, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The lanky striker was the hero on Saturday evening as he netted the only goal of the game in Super Eagles 0-1 away win over Squirrels of Benin Republic. He was introduced later in the game and he put the doubters wrong with the 94th minute header to decide the game. He was excited about the game but quickly shifted the attention to the competition proper. " We just have to go there ( AFCON) and win the gold", he told NFF TV. Onuachu was part of the Nigeria's Super Eagles team to 2019 African Cup Of Nations in Egypt where the team finished with Bronze medal.
