2021 AFCON Qualifier: Benin bounce back against Serria Leone

Benin Republic on Sunday pipped Sierra Leone 1-0 in their match-day 2 of the 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifier in Cotonou, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

Benin lost to Nigeria's Super Eagles at the Goodswill Akpabio stadium in Uyo on Wednesday while Serria Leone played out a 1-1 draw with Lesotho in Freetown.

The Squirel of Benin on Sunday pipped visiting Serria Leone 1-0 with Joddel Dossou scoring the only goal of the game.

With the win, Benin Republic are second on group L with three points from two matches.

Nigeria's Super Eagles are topping the log with six points from same number of matches after defeating Crocodile of Lesotho on Sunday in Maseru.
