2021 AFCON qualifier list : Don't expect any surprise inclusion- Rohr

By Sampson Adedeji

As the 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifier draw closer, Nigeria's Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has confirmed that there will be no surprise inclusion when he releases the list of players that will prosecute the next two matches.

BSN reports that the three-time African champions will play against Squirrels of Benin Republic and Lesotho in the qualifying matches slated for November.

The Franco-German gaffer speaking from his base in France stated that fans should not expect any new players coming into the team adding that most players that were invited for the last two international friendly matches against Ukraine and Brazil will still be considered for the ties.

"We are expecting to have active players in the team because we cannot afford to experiment now as there is no time again; we are hoping that none of the players will have injury.

“I must also let you know that there would not be any change from the squad that played against Brazil and Ukraine," he stated.

The Super Eagles are  slated for  double header AFCON qualifying matches against Benin Republic  at home on November 13 and  away to Lesotho  in Maseru on November 19.
