  2021 AFCON Qualifier: Onuachu Replaces Moses Simon By Sampson Adedeji Ahead of the 2021 African Cup Of Nations qualifier against Benin Republic and Lesotho, RKC Genk of Belgium striker, Paul Onuachu, has been called upon to replace Nantes of France winger Moses Simon, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Simon who netted the winning goal for Nantes last weekend against champions, Paris Saint German was invited into the squad but has to drop out after the French Ligue One side refused to release him. Some clubs across Europe are reluctant to release their players for international duty due to Coronavirus restrictions which mandated returning players to self isolated before joining the team. Inform Onuach was initially placed on standby to the surprise of many but was asked to replace Simon on Wednesday. Nigeria's Super Eagles will face Squirrels of Benin Republic in the match day 5 before facing Crocodiles in the last match day in Lagos.
