2021 AFCON Qualifier: Players Absent Worries Lesotho Coach
By Sampson Adedeji
Ahead of the 2021 African Cup Of Nations qualifiers, all not seems to be well in the camp of the Crocodile of Lesotho as two key players of the team are yet to report to the team camp, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
In readiness for the clash against Lone star of Sierra Leone and Super Eagles of Nigeria, Lesotho resumed closed camping exercise on Friday and two key players of the team Tsepo Seturumane and Motlomelo Mkhwanazi failed to join the team.
Head coach of the team Thabo Senong is already fed up and disappointed as both players failed to show up at the team camp.
"I think these two players need some serious help because this is not the first time they are behaving like this," he said.
"I'm worried about the two players ill-discipline. It's clear that they have outright contempt for authority and do not care what direction their careers take.
"I find it absurd because they have both immensely benefited from football but are clearly taking it for granted," he added.
Lesotho are presently at the bottom of group L with two points after 4 matches.
They will play against Sierra Leone in the match day 5 of the African Nations Cup qualifier before facing Nigeria's Super Eagles in the last match day.
