  2021 AFCON Qualifier: Rohr Optimistic About Sierra Leone Double Header By Niyi Busari Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr says he is optimistic that the Nigeria senior national team will pick maximum points in their double header matches against Sierra Leone, BSNSports.com.ng can report. The Franco-German tactician who says the Eagles camp will open on Monday 9th November believes that the new players discovered from the last two friendly matches against Algeria and Tunisia will make his team more efficient. "Now, there is possibility to be efficient in our competition games. Of course, Sanusi will be in my list and have chances to play in the two games. We are very optimistic in our next games." Rohr told BSN Sports. "We will open Super Eagles camp on Monday 9th of November to prepare for our game on the 13th and 17th. He stated that he is satisfied with the new talented discovered despite the slip in the FIFA rankings. "It doesn't matter if we are number 29th or 31st on FIFA Rankings. The friendly games are the only possibilities to test our players and wears happy about it. It is more important to find good players like Okoye, Sanusi, Ejuke and others in the friendlies. We wish to win absolutely but it is not the most important. The most important is to discover players to fortify our team." Nigeria is topping group L with six points from two matches. Having defeated Lesotho and Benin Republic beating Sierra Leone hone and away in the next two matches automatically qualify the team for the 2021 African Nations Cup in Cameroon.
