2021 AFCON Qualifier: Sierra Leone Agrees To Play Against Benin Republic

Sierra Leone Football Association has finally agreed to play the final group game of the 2021 African Cup Of Nations qualifier against Squirrels of Benin Republic, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The final group game which initially scheduled for March was botched after Benin players refused to play majority of their players was said to have tested positive for corona virus.
The result which never go down well with the Beninoise football federation which led to them abandoning the game .
Africa soccer governing body rescheduled the match to June but Sierra Leone refused to agree instead took the case to Court For Arbitration for Sports ( CAS) ask them to disqualify Benin and awarded the match to them.
The case is already in CAS but Sierra Leone through its president Isha Johnson accepted CAF proposal to play the game in June and pull the matter put of CAS.
She has now proposed 12th to 14th of June as the date for the game to come up in Freetown, Sierra Leone
