2021 AFCON Qualifier: Sierra Leone To Host Benin Republic In Guinea

  By Sampson Adedeji Africa soccer governing body on Friday confirmed that Leone star of Sierra Leone will not be allow to host Squirrels of Benin Republic at the Siaka Sieven Stadium in Freetown, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The venue played host to Nigeria's Super Eagles in the match day 4 of the qualifier and it ended goalless between both side. To this end, the Sierra Leonean Football Federation (SLFA) had chosen Guinea to host this meeting. The decision was informal. It is now official, according to the Guinean football federation, of which the secretary general, the Guinean sports ministry and the leaders of the SLFA agreed this Friday. Thus, after agreeing on the measures to be taken to successfully organize this event, the date of the meeting has been set for March 30 at the September 28 stadium. Members of the Leonese delegation are said to have visited the facilities of the September 28 Stadium in the earlier on friday.
