2021 AFCON: We Are Ready To Host Africa - Charaf Eddine

As debate about Cameroon hosting 2021 African Cup of Nations continues, Algeria has put themselves up as possible host if the Central Africa country is stripped off the hosting right, BSNSports.com.ng can reports.
Reports emanated on Monday that African soccer governing is not satisfy with the level of readiness of Cameroon to stage Africa biggest soccer showpiece which led to speculations that CAF might decides to take away the competition from Cameroon for the second time consecutively.
However, Algeria Football President Charaf Eddine Amara on Tuesday make a pronouncement that Algeria is ready to host the tournament if Cameroon is stripped off.
"If Cameroon withdraw from hosting the 2021 AFCON, we will discuss with officials concern so Algeria can host African cup," he said.
Algeria last hosted the competition in 1990 and they were the eventual winners of the cup.
