2021 Volleyball League: Kada Emeralds Record Back to Back Win on Day 3

Kada Emeralds recorded back to back victory against COAS Spikers and Nigeria Police Force in the women's category of the ongoing 2021 Nigeria Volleyball Premier League in Ilorin on Friday.
Youthful Kada Emeralds led by Vincent Unogwu beat COAS Spikers 3-2 (20-25, 25-21, 15-25, 25-14, 15-12) in a keenly contested match on Thursday while they pulled another surprise win against Nigeria Police Force 3-2(17-25, 25-18, 25-15, 24-26, 15-8) on Friday.
The head coach of Kada Emeralds, Vincent Unogwu told newsmen after the victory that winning the first two matches in the league is a morale booster.
Vincent revealed that the team has been in camp for over two months preparing for the league.
He added that the Chairman of Kaduna State Volleyball Association, Engineer Musa Nimrod has been supporting the young side.
He said, "Recording two consecutive victories in the league means a lot to the team; the win is to show that we are in the league to make a mark and not to participate.
"The team has been in camp for over two months preparing for the league and you can all see the product of adequate preparation.
"I want to thank the Kaduna State Volleyball Association led by Engineer Musa Nimrod for his unflinching support to this young side. We promise not to disappoint the good people of Kaduna state.
