2022 AWCON: Banyana Banyana Arrive Morocco For Super Falcons

Ahead of the 2022 African Women Cup of Nations, Group C opponent of Nigeria's Super Falcons, Banyana Banyana of South Africa have landed in Rabat, Morocco, BSNsports.com.ng understands.



The team had been in a closed camping exercise in the last two weeks under Desiree Ellis, head coach of the team.


Before their departure late on Tuesday, the President of the South Africa Football Association ( SAFA), Danny Jordan announced a huge cash reward for the team if they emerge the winner.


The team land on Wednesday afternoon in Rabat venue of their Group C matches.


They will face tough opposition in their opening group game when they confront Nigeria's Super Falcons before facing Botswana and Burundi later in the competition.


Banyana Banyana who finished as the first runner-up in the last edition will target a place in the Semi-final in order to qualify for the 2023 FIFA Women World Cup.
