Ahead of the 2022 African Women Cup of Nations, debutant Botswana has handed invitations to 30 players for the competition, BSNsports.com.ng gathered
Botswana qualified for the tournament for the first time and has been grouped in group along with Bayana Bayana of South Africa, defending champions Super Falcons of Nigeria and another debutant Burundi.
Head coach of the team Gaoletlhoo Nkutlwisang announced the 30 players that will commence closed camping in Orapa.
The team was otherwise known as Mares spent major part of last month in a foreign tour of Lusaka where they played out a 1-1 with Shepolopolo.
Botswana will open their campaign in the competition against Burundi before facing South Africa and Nigeria later in the group.
