2022 AWCON: Botswana Releases Final List For Super Falcons

Ahead of the 2022 African Women Cup of Nations in Morocco, Botswana Football Association( BFA) has announced the final 23-man squad of Mares, BSNsports.com.ng reports.


The country's senior women's team will be making their debut in the competition after making several efforts in the past.


Since their qualification, they have embarked on rigorous training, closed camping exercises and engaging in a series of friendly matches.


They completed their local camping exercises on Thursday.


BFA on Friday released the list of 23 players that will fly the country's flag in Morocco with 11 technical crew members led by Gaolethoo Nkutlwisang.


Botswana is placed in the Group C alongside South Africa, Burundi and defending champions Super Falcons of Nigeria whom they will face in their second match.
