2022 AWCON: Super Falcon Camp Open In A Fortnight

Ahead of the 2022 African Women Cup of Nations in Morocco, Super Falcons are to resume camping exercise in two weeks, BSNsports.com.ng reports.

The Nigeria side which is also the defending champions, qualified for the biennial tournament after they defeated the Black Queens of Ghana and Ivory Coast in the regional qualifying round.

Team head coach, Randy Waldrum, a week ago released the list of invited players that will start preparation for the competition.

According to the report, the camp will open in Rabat the capital city of Morocco, the same city the team will play its group matches.

Super Falcons are in Group C with rivals, Bayana Bayana of South Africa and two debutants, Botswana and Burundi.

The semi-finalists of the competition will qualify to represent Africa in the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup which will be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand.
