2022 CWG: Euharia Dedicates Gold Medal To Husband

Newly crowned Commonwealth Games champion, Euharia Iyiazi, has dedicated her gold medal to her husband for his support, BSNsports.com.ng understands.

Eucharia on Saturday claimed a medal in the F55-57 women's Shot Put and apart from that she also set a new Commonwealth Games record.

While reacting to her victory, she dedicated the medal to her husband while also expressing her happiness to Nigeria for allowing her to take part in the Games

"I want to dedicate my gold medal to my husband, who is my mentor and support. Also to my country, Nigeria, for making it possible for me to be here," she said.
