2022 CWG: Team Nigeria Boxers Return To Nigeria

After two weeks of participation in the 2022 Commonwealth Games, Team Nigeria Boxers on Tuesday night returned to the country, BSNsports.com.ng understands.

The Boxers including their coaches arrived through Nnamdi Azikiwe International airport.

The contingent includes: Head coach Anthony Konyegwachie, Assistance Peace Epia and boxers: Elizabeth Oshoba, Abdulafeez Osoba, Innocent Ehwarieme, Ifeanyi Onyekwere, Jacinta Umunnakwe, Adeyinka Benson and others.

Nigeria won (4) medals in boxing, a silver and three bronze, out of Nine (9) boxers that represented the country at the Just concluded 22nd Commonwealth games in Birmingham.

The Medalist are: Silver medalist Elizabeth Oshoba, Bronze medalist Cynthia Ogunsemilore.
