2022 CWG: Tobi Amusan To Carry Team Nigeria Flag For Closing Ceremony

As the closing ceremony of the 2022 Commonwealth Games is set for Monday night in Birmingham, world champion Tobiloba Amusan has been selected as the flag bearer of Team Nigeria, BSNsports.com.ng has gathered.

Team Nigeria finished its campaign in Birmingham on a good note amassing 35 medals consisting of 12 gold, 9 silver and 14 bronze to place 7th on the log.

Amusan was the cynosure of all eyes as she set a new record in the 100 meters Women's hurdles final with a time of 12.30secs.

Apart from hurdles she also helped Team Nigeria to a gold medal in the 4×100 meters final.

She was announced Monday morning as the flag bearer of Team Nigeria and the event is slated for Alexander Stadium in Birmingham.
