How Dad Sponsored Them To Tunisia

A few days after winning a silver medal for the country, the Mustapha brothers, Musa and Mustapha Mustapha have narrated how their father sponsored them to the competition, BSNsports.com.ng has gathered.

Nigeria's U15 table tennis team clinched a silver medal in the 2022 African Youth Championship that was held in Tunisia at the weekend.

Musa and Mustapha played a key role in the semi-final victory over Algeria before losing to Egypt in the final.

While narrating how both of them were able to represent the country in Tunisia, Mustapha said the table tennis federation requested for him only but their father requested for his brother to join them in the tournament.

"My brother didn't know he was going with us, our father was the one that sponsored us.

"When the federation called, they invited only me and my father requested if both of us can go, then the federation said yes and he paid for both of us.

"So we are dedicating our silver medal to our dad," he said .
