2022 NNL Super 4: Bendel Insurance Emerge Champions

After three days of non-stop actions, Bendel Insurance have emerged as the winners of the 2022 Nigeria National League after they became the table toppers in the just concluded Super 4 competition at the Samson Siasia stadium in Yenogoa, Bayelsa State, BSNSports.com.ng report.

The Benin Arsenal confirmed their position on top of the table after they defeated the hard-fighting Doma United of Gombe 2-1 in the last match on Saturday night.

Austin Ogunye put Insurance ahead in the 38th but Doma United rallied back in the second half to equalize in the 55th minute.

Newly acquired striker, Ebenezer Odeyemi, sealed the win for Bendel Insurance in the 75th minute and secured them maximum points to emerge champions.

At the end of the Super 4, Bendel Insurance emerged winner with 7 points, while Bayelsa United finished in the 2nd spot. El-Kanemi Warriors and Doma United finished in the 3rd and 4th position respectively.
