2022 NSF: Bayelsa Contingent Storm Uyo

Ahead of the South-South Zonal eliminations for the 2022 National Sports Festival (NSF), Bayelsa State contingents have landed in Uyo for the event, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Athletes from five states: Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Edo, Cross Rivers and Rivers will converge in Uyo for the elimination series which took off from the 2nd of October to the 7th.

Team Bayelsa State contingent of about 264 athletes and officials led by Director of Sports Bayelsa State Sports Council, Sir Braveman Wodi departed the state capital in high spirit and with great expectations of impressive performance as recorded in the previous outing in Benin City, Edo State.

Bayelsa who had a podium finish in the 20th National Sports Festival will participate in Handball, Volleyball, Beach Volleyball/ Softball, Hockey, Football and Basketball.
