2022 WAFCON: "We Will Build On Our Performance Against Burundi - Randy

Ahead of the all-important final group match against Burundi, the head coach of Super Falcons, Randy Waldrum has declared the teams readiness, BSNsports.com.ng has gathered.

The defending champions bounced back strongly to win their second group match against Botswana after a shocking defeat to South Africa in the opening game.

The American gaffer made the statement during a press conference organised ahead of the game against Burundi, he said the last group game is a must win.

“We want to build on our performance from the second game. We have quality option of options to pick from, we will look at the squad today and make the decision to bring the best out of the squad," he said.

Nigeria required at least a draw against Burundi to progress to the quarter-final of the competition.
