2022 WAFCON: My Family Want Me To Go To School - Ajibade

Super Falcons attacker, Rasheedat Ajibade has confirmed that her family wanted her to go to school as against playing active football, BSNsports.com.ng has gathered
The Atletico Madrid Feminino forward is presently in the camp of Super Falcons representing the country in the ongoing African Women Cup of Nations in Morocco.
Despite losing the opening game to Banyana Banyana of South Africa, Ajibade was able to distinguish herself by scoring Nigeria's only goal in the game.
She was also enterprising in the second match against the Mares of Botswana, helping the team to a 2-0 win.
While speaking to CAF media, Ajibade said her family wanted her to further her education but football stayed close to her heart.
"My family likes education. I feel like I had to finish my degree first.
It was important for me to finish school because I was also underage to move abroad so it was a bit challenging because when I saw people that I was older than playing in Europe - while I was still playing in Nigeria - it was tough.â€
“But when things like this happen, you have to know the right time to make a move. When you believe in God, things align and fall into place.
Education is very important because you can fall back to it after you are done playing football,†she said.
