2022 WAFCON: Uchebe Proud To Score First Super Falcons Goal

Nigeria's Super Falcons star, Christy Uchebe has expressed her happiness after her goal secured the maximum for the team on Thursday, BSNsports.com.ng report

After suffering a 2-1 defeat to South Africa in the opening group C game, Super Falcons required a total victory to relaunch their hope of qualifying for the FIFA Women World Cup.

The defending champions defeated Mares of Botswana 2-0 with Uchebe's second-half goal sealing the game.

"I am so proud to have scored my first goal for the Super Falcons and helped the team secure this important victory," she said.

Nigeria will face Burundi on Sunday in the final group C match.
