2022 WAFCON: Waldrum Declares Super Falcons Readiness For Quarterfinal Clash With Cameroon

Head Coach of the Nigeria's Super Falcons Randy Waldrum has said the game against the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon will not be easy, BSNsports.com.ng has gathered.

Super Falcons qualified to face Cameroon in the quarter-final of the ongoing 2022 African Women Cup of Nations in Morocco after they finished second in Group C.

They defeated Burundi 4-0 in the final group game to set up a clash while Cameroon beat Tunisia 2-0 in their final group B match.

During a post-match conference Waldrum said they expect a difficult match but assured Nigerians that the players are ready for the game.

"We understand the history between Nigeria and Cameroon. It will be a difficult game and we are looking forward to the game. Changing of venue won't be any factor, the pitch will be fantastic and the players are also looking forward to the game," he said.

Apart from qualifying for the semi-final, the winners of the match will also pick the 2023 FIFA Women World Cup ticket.
