2022 WAFCON: We Lost To A Better Super Falcons - Botswana Coach

Head Coach of the Mares of Botswana Gaolethoo Nkultwisang has said they lost to a better Super Falcons team, BSNsports.com.ng has gathered.



Despite winning their first match against Burundi, Botswana suffered a 2-0 loss to the Super Falcons of Nigeria in the second group c match in the ongoing African Women Cup of Nations in Morocco.



During the post-match conference, the soft-spoken gaffer heaped praised her players for their performance and acknowledge that Nigeria is better.



"The team played well, looking at the kind of opposition, apart from being the most experienced, they (Nigeria) are champions also, while this is our first time of coming here," she said.



Botswana will confront group leader Banyana Banyana in the final group match and a draw will take them into the quarter-final of the competition.
