Just as promised when the competition commenced, the African soccer governing body has released the criteria for coaches and their assistants that will sit on the respective bench on the participating teams for the 2022 edition of the tournament, BSNsports.com.ng gathered.


The competition was established in 2020 but it was cancelled due to the outbreak of coronavirus.


The inaugural edition was held in the year 2021 in Egypt and coaches were allowed sit on the bench without specific qualifications 


According to the information coming from Cairo, Egypt, CAf has mandated that coaches that will sit on the bench for participation clubs must have an A or B licence from the confederation or Pro A or B licence from the recognised sister federations.


For the assistant coaches, they must possess CAF A, B or C licence, Pro A, B or C licence from the sister federation will also be permitted 


Any coaches without any of the criteria will not be allowed to sit on the bench.


Rivers Angels represented Nigeria in the maiden edition while Mamelodi Sundown of South Africa win the title.
