  2022 AWCON Qualifier: Debut Brace Excites Onumonu   Sampson Adedeji     US-based Ifeoma Onumonu has said she's delighted with her remarkable performance against Ivory Coast in the first leg of the 2022 African Women Cup of Nations qualifier, BSNsports.com.ng can report.   Onumonu was the star performer in the game as she scored twice to hand Super Falcons a much needed win at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.   While speaking to press after the match, Onumonu said she has been watching the team over the years and maintained the hope of playing with them.     "I have been watching the team for years and I think of playing with them.   "To make my debut today was amazing and scoring 2 goals was good, I thought about scoring one but I wanted to make an impact in this team.   "I'm happy with my performance, the job is not done yet, we still have the second leg so I'm focusing on the next game," she said   Ivory Coast will host Nigeria in the reverse fixture in Abidjan on Wednesday with the winner over the two legs progressing to the competition proper in Morocco.
