2022 AWCON Qualifier: Five Players Dropped As Waldrum Trim Down Team

Ahead of the much-awaited 2022 African Women Cup of Nations qualifier, Super Falcons coach Randy Waldrum has trimmed down the number of players in the team camp, BSNsports.com.ng can report.
The team resumed camping exercise since last week with 30 players but not all the players were in camp immediately due to club engagements.
All the invited players arrived camp on Monday and Waldrum decided to trim down the number of players to 25 while 5 players were dropped.
Christy Ohiaeriaku, Miracle Joseph, Joy Duru, Ayomide Ojo and Juliet Bassey were excused from the team.
Nigeria will host Ivory Coast at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja in the first leg of the qualifier before travelling to Abidjan for the reverse fixture on the 23rd of February.
